Fair Housing Advocates of Northern California, in collaboration with the Marin Housing Authority, is pleased to present our upcoming Fair Housing Academy, which provides an Overview of Federal and State Fair Housing Law. Property owners and managers, and other real estate professionals in the private and public sectors, are invited to attend this seminar.

Topics to include:

• Overview of federal and state fair housing laws

• Disability discrimination and reasonable accommodations

• Familial status and national origin discrimination

• Criminal records in the rental housing screening process

• Steering, blockbusting, harassment, retaliation

• Administrative complaints

• Developing pro-active fair housing policies
